Today I am 22 weeks along. Last week we had our five month check up. So far, everything is going well. Today, we had an ultrasound done for an anatomical screening. Below are the three photos they gave us to take home. We have decided to wait until the baby is born to find out his/her sex.
Tonight Chris was able to feel my stomach and feel the baby kick for the first time.
Recently, our friends Paul, Hiroko, and their son Kenzo returned to upstate New York for a couple of weeks. They stayed at the famous Creekside Bed and Breakfast, just outside Cooperstown. Creekside is owned and operated by Paul’s mother, the beautiful and stunning Gwen.
They have been living in Tokyo for the last few years, and getting to see them again was a wonderful gift. Below is a picture of me and Kenzo that Paul just sent to me. As it is a photo that was not posted on Paul’s blog, I will post it here.
I wish that they could have stayed longer. We dearly miss our friends in Tokyo.

Tonight we go and pick up our new car. It is a 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon 2.5i. It has about 19,000 miles on it. We are trading in our 2000 Subaru Impreza L which has 177,000 miles on it. Below is the picture from the dealer site.
